Teksys Inc. , a certified MBE and Texas HUB, was formed on February 2008 with the idea of creating a company that will leverage the latest wireless technologies to create state of the art solutions for our clients. Teksys was no intended to be just another service company; Teksys is founded with the principal of being a technology partner to our clients that will deliver the best solution for their current and future needs while providing outstanding customer service.

Who we are

Driven by the expanding needs of the market and advances in technology, the wireless environment’s boundaries have extended beyond digital voice to fully encompass data and video communications. These trends have already transformed our personal and professional lives to a great extent, yet even greater are the expectations of what lies ahead. We at Teksys are responding to these expectations by continuously identifying and evaluating new, disruptive technologies in order to continue providing top of the line solutions to our customers.
Teksys takes pride on its continuous research on new technologies and Innovations to help identify new technology and equipment partners. In the early days of Teksys, the team identified Wireless Technologies as a technology that could create a new opportunity for municipalities and other government agencies that have a need to expand their networks to be able to increase security, communications/Wi-Fi, access control and asset tracking. Since then Teksys has become a market leader in the development of Mesh networks and Premium VAR for Firetide Inc, Siklu Communications and Bridgewave Inc. Teksys has designed, configured and implemented more than 1200 mesh nodes in projects like citywide networks for New Orleans and Houston. Teksys has also designed and implemented 8 mobility networks for campuses of the Texas Youth Commission which range from 46 to 90 mesh nodes.
Teksys solutions don’t end there, Teksys has partner with one of the leading Satellite Communications solution providers to deliver Emergency and Backup communications anytime, anywhere. Some of our solutions include: communication trailers, portable satellite units, satellite phones, Cellular Over Satellite, VOIP Phones and Service, BGAN Portables, and fixed location VSAT.
Teksys is pleased to be a part of the Texas Go DIRect program. Our offering to the Texas Department of Information Resources encompasses RF design, network integration and optimization of wireless communications networks for solutions in public safety, Wi-Fi, Point to Point, Point to Multi-Point, Mesh and Satellite communications. We are proud to be DIR partners with Firetide Inc., Aruba Outdoor, Ground Control Satellite Solutions and Applied Wireless Solutions Communication Equipment and Supplies.
